Eco-friendly and made in France, Elhée's baby bottle strengths are:
Can we alternate breastfeeding with Élhée BibRond?
The soft and extra-supple texture of the physiological teat provides baby with a sensation similar to breastfeeding. The teat's enlarged base reproduces the natural sucking position. Its adapted perforation regulates the flow according to the liquid contained in the bottle, which encourages baby to exert the same sucking effort as at the breast. Thus, the babies don’t lose the habit of breastfeeding, unlike with other teats that often propose a single, much faster flow rate.
Why do Élhée teats contain a valve?
Élhée teats incorporate a valve that reduces the absorption of air during suction, thus decreasing the baby's risk of colic. It's a slit-shaped opening on the side of the teat specifically designed to reduce air absorption and the risk of regurgitation by the baby, to aid its digestive comfort.
Is there a specific sense when using the teat?
The teat has an asymmetrical shape to correspond to the form of the baby’s mouth. The teat is correctly placed when the anti-colic valve is positioned just under baby’s nose.
How do we care for the teat? How often should it be changed?
Before and after each use, the teat should be thoroughly cleaned separately from the ring with a conventional or ecological dishwashing liquid, and then rinsed in clear water. A special mini-brush for teats can be used. For reasons of hygiene and safety, it is advisable to replace the teat after 4 to 8 weeks, depending on its frequency of use.
Are the teats interchangeable on both BibRond sizes?
All teats can be used on all sizes of Élhée BibRond. For reasons of hygiene and safety, it is advisable to replace the teat after 4 to 8 weeks, depending on its frequency of use. The baby bottles can be used much longer - The only risk is the change of color when you use the dishwasher. We do not recommend that the silicone bottle, stopper and teat come into contact with oil-based foods, such as sauces or juices, as they may stain or damage them.
Cleaning instructions
Elhée bottles can be wash with dishwasher or by hands with soap - Unlike conventional plastic baby bottles, Elhée silicone baby bottles are naturally anti-microbial and hygienic and no bottle brush is required for cleaning thanks to its design. Silicone is also scratch resistant and unlike glass, is shatter proof, making Elhée highly durable Caution: With Dishwasher use, we do not recommend that the silicone bottle, stopper and teat come into contact with oil-based foods, such as sauces or juices, as they may stain or damage them.
Heating
Bottles can be heated up with heater: Maternity model de BEBE CONFORT or Baby Milk Second de BEABA / in a bain-marie or in the microwave oven, after prior removal of the teat.
