Our Mia cotbed is the big sister of our more compact cot bed, the Mini Mia, which was awarded Bronze by the Junior Design Awards 2020/21 for 'Best Cot/Cotbed Design'. They are the same in every way except size - and we would recommend the Mia if you have a regular sized nursery and the Mini Mia if your nursery is more compact.

Classic styling complements both contemporary and traditional interiors and you can have it painted in any colour too. Adjustable ends make it an unusually well proportioned and cute little junior bed when you convert it from the cot into a bed, so no need to buy a separate junior bed and your little one can progress directly from your Mia cotbed straight to an adult single or double bed.

Made from 100% sustainably sourced beech, it’s robust, easy to assemble and comes with matching bed guards so your little one easily adjusts to their ‘big bed’ when the time comes.

It is one of our most popular items of furniture and the option to choose it in any colour makes it even more desirable. When choosing a Bespoke Paint Colour, we will contact you as soon as you have purchased your cot to ask for the Dulux number.

It comes with matching bed guards to ease the transition from cot sleeping to bed sleeping, and an optional storage drawer which is always useful in smaller spaces.
It is made in Europe from 100% sustainably-sourced beech and is finished with water-based eco-friendly paint. It is safely chewable.
It can be used from newborn to around 5 years old.
It complies with – and meets - both British and EU safety standards
As a cot, it has two separate height levels so it can be safely adjusted as baby grows.
It can be ordered in any colour to match any other item in our range and to fit with any home interior, and drawer knobs can be personalised. When choosing a 'Bespoke' colour, we will contact you once you have placed your order to ask for a DULUX colour reference.
We can also personalise it with names or painted designs of any kind on the cot itself. Just ask us after you place your order.
There are no screws showing which is a major style bonus!
It is incredibly straightforward to assemble, adjust and convert.
Its sturdy construction means that it will withstand future climbers and adventurers and multiple occupants over several years.

All our Anita's House Furniture is made to order and has a lead-time of 6-8 weeks. Please check the top of the product page for current shipping times for all different colours. It comes flat-packed with instructions for self-assembly.

Just one important thing to be aware of, so you download the right assembly instructions. If you have bought a Mia or Mini Mia Cot Bed from us in store rather than online, you might have bought the Classic Mia, and not the HS (hidden screws) Mia Cot Bed. To identify, if you can see the screws on the outside of the head board and foot board, then you need the Mia Classic Assembly Instructions, downloadable here, and if you can’t see the screws in the head board and the foot board, then you need the Mia HS Assembly instructions, downloadable above or here.

Your order will be sent by courier and you will receive a notification once it has been shipped and will be able to track the order. In some cases, our Anita's House delivery team may be able to deliver the furniture which can occur for London based deliveries. We will be in touch separately should this be the case.
